With a 35 mm diameter, the reference 1509 offered a notably larger size for its era, especially when compared to the 33 mm diameter of the contemporaneous and iconic reference 96 dress watch. The watch’s expansive dial is complemented by a sleek, well-balanced case, lending it an impressive presence on the wrist. Featuring an outer railway track at five-minute intervals, paired with dot markers for the minutes and Roman numerals at 12, 3, and 9, the watch appears elegant and refined.
