We are proud to present this ultra-rare and recently serviced Patek Philippe Aquanaut, reference 5165A — offered complete with its original box, Patek Philippe service papers, and Extract from the Archives (requested).
This Aquanaut is in exceptional condition. Crafted from stainless steel, the 38mm case houses the iconic embossed dial, beloved by collectors worldwide. This reference, now discontinued, was only produced for approximately one year, which adds substantially to its rarity and desirability.
Following a long service time and a comprehensive €4,000 investment, the watch has been returned from Patek Philippe to near-new condition — offering the next owner both peace of mind and long-term value.
The full maintenance service was performed by Patek Philippe themselves — widely regarded as the pinnacle of horological aftercare. The case has been expertly polished and underwent precision laser refinishing to remove any visible signs of wear. A brand-new original black rubber strap, new front and back sapphire crystals have been fitted, enhancing both the watch’s appearance and durability. New folding clasp covers and push pins were also installed, ensuring optimal safety.
This thorough service not only includes a worldwide service warranty but also reinforces the long-term investment potential of this already rare piece.
Inside ticks the renowned Patek Philippe Caliber 324 SC — one of the final movements to carry the prestigious Geneva Seal before the introduction of the Patek Philippe Seal. This 5165A is accompanied by the black rubber strap, original inner and outer boxes, the official Extract from the Archives, and recent service documentation — offering a complete and highly collectible set.
