A fine platinum wristwatch with annual calendar, 24-hour indication, presentation box, and certificate of origin Ref:5035 Movement No.3058108, Case No. 4033024, Circa 1997 35-jewel Cal.315/198, stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium-plated, straight line lever escapement, Gyromax balance, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring, 21K gold rotor, black dial with applied white gold luminous Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, luminous white gold feuille hands, subsidiary dials for the days of the week, month and 24 hours, date aperture at 6, screwed-down exhibition case back, maker's fitted crocodile strap and platinum deployant clasp, together with Patek Philippe presentation box, Certificate of Origin dated May 13, 1998, and outer packaging, case, dial and movement signed 37mm Footnotes Patek Philippe's reference 5035 was the first wristwatch to contain a patented annual calendar movement, which only requires a date correction once a year at the end of February. The watch will automatically correct the date for the other months ending in 30 or 31 days. This useful complication and classic design appeal to many, being both easy to read and less fragile than a perpetual calendar. Produced from 1996 through 2005, the reference 5035 was then replaced by the reference 5146, which replaced the 24-hour indication with a moon phase, and added a power reserve display.
