An incredible example of the Golden Ellipse, featuring the famous case shape, a sunburst blue dial and an under-the-radar platinum case. This Golden Ellipse is from the modern collection, featuring a larger and more contemporary 34mm case size, which wears larger than the number suggests. The proportions remain consistent overall, with there being slightly more negative space on the dial due to the increased case width which allows the sunburst pattern to shine even more. Despite that, it still clearly follows the Golden Ratio after which the watch was named after. This Patek is keeping time to -0.3 s/d, and has just returned from being serviced by the brand.
