The Ref. 5004 was Patek Philippe’s first serially produced split-seconds perpetual calendar wristwatch. Produced between 1996 and 2012, it is one of the most important high complications the Geneva brand produced in the modern era. Powered by a Lemania-based movement, the watch was produced in four metals during its 16-year run – yellow gold, pink gold, white gold, and platinum, the rarest of the lot is of course, platinum.The 5004 was eventually replaced by Ref. 5204, which was unveiled during Baselworld 2012. The Ref. 5004 was Patek Philippe’s first serially produced split-seconds perpetual calendar wristwatch. Produced between 1996 and 2012, it is one of the most important high complications the Geneva brand produced in the modern era.
