Reference 1593. Movement number: 975948. Case back number: 681654. The watch flares from 22mm at the center to 25mm at the top and is 41mm in length (from the top of the lugs). The watch is accompanied by a copy of its original Patek certificate indicating the date of sale as 13/8/56 and was sold by A. Mersmann located in Hoheweg Switzerland. The watch retains its original curved and slightly faceted crystal which fits seamlessly to the case. The crown is unsigned but there appears to be some debate as to whether all the 1593's had signed crowns. Dial is not marked SWISS but again it appears about half the dials on 1593's are not signed SWISS so I can not state unequivocally if it is or is not original. Note: Depending on the light the satin silver dial can also appear slightly gold.
