Rare 1948 18ct Gold Patek Philippe Chronograph Wrist Watch with Extract from Archives

A rare and elegant 18ct yellow gold Patek Philippe 13''' Chronograph-Register, manual wind wrist watch, (ref 1579), manufactured in 1948, sold 1st February 1949, movement nr 867396.This timepiece features a matte silvered dial, gold hour markers with gold Arabic numerals to 12 and 6, subsidiary dials at 3 and 9, for accurate second and 30 min recording, blue steeled chronograph hand with outer printed tachymeter scale, 34mm case, numbered 651841, Patek Philippe gold crown, with small pushers to either side, dial and movement signed. Presented on a Patek Philippe brown crocodile leather strap with an 18ct gold clasp. The watch is complete with Patek Philippe travel pouch, an Extract from the Archives of Patek Philippe dated August 9th 2022, together with current owners purchase receipt dated August 16th 2024 from Pride & Pinion, Ireland.
