Launched in 2023 as an extension of the Tonda collection, the model we have here is the Tonda Minute Rattrapante – a complicated version of the immensely popular Tonda collection that stands at a universally wearable 40mm in diameter, allowing its integrated design to fit on the majority of wrist sizes. Made of stainless steel and boasting the Tonda’s unique bracelet design and tightly fluted bezel, the Tonda Minute Rattrapante retains the collection’s signature aesthetics all while bringing its own flavor to the model in the form of its stunning sand grey dial. Decorated with a wonderful Grain d’Orge guilloché texture across its surface that adds a layer of visual intrigue to its display that is then contrasted by a recessed chapter ring boasting concentric brushing, the Tonda Minute Rattrapante’s dial boasts depth and fine finishing. Powered by the automatic cal. PF051 movement that is proudly displayed behind an exhibition caseback to ensure the Tonda Minute Rattrapante is a coalesced piece of horological luxury, the Tonda Minute Rattrapante's hidden minute hand can be forwarded in 1 and 5-minute intervals using the pushers at 8 and 10 o'clock respectively, as a way to measure the elapsed time. Then, should you no longer need the function, the normally hidden minute hand can be re-hidden by pressing the 18kt yellow gold monopusher pusher within the winding crown at 3 o'clock.
