Parmigiani Fleurier was founded in Fleurier, Switzerland in 1996 by the genius watchmaker Michel Parmigiani. The company has established a unique position by creating many masterpieces from its integrated production system, craftsmanship, and advanced technology, which is one of the best in Switzerland.
This is the Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda pf Annual Calendar, a 42mm case in 18K gold with a polished and brushed 18K gold bracelet. The knurled and knurled bezel follows Michel Parmigiani's first watch trick, while the case foundation follows the Tonda Chronor Anniversaire, winner of the 2017 Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève in the chronograph category. The calibre PF339 on board displays the retrograde date, day of the week, month, and the moon phase with a 122-year cycle in both hemispheres. Placing all this information in addition to the usual three hands was a challenge to the essence of the design. The Tonda pf Annual Calendar balances the design codes and layout of the collection by displaying the date on a minute track and placing the counters on warm gray guilloché dials, each with a distinct outline. This timepiece is full of Parmigiani Fleurier's charm, and is a perfect example of what a modern luxury watch should be, even down to the fact that it is equipped with a movement manufactured entirely in-house.
