DESCRIPTION: Unique edition of 1000 units This is a very special limited-edition watch! It has many features which make it unique. The 1940 style 47mm polished stainless steel case is large and very comfortable. This case does not have a locking crown, but like old style Radiomir Panerai watches, it also does not have wire lugs. You will appreciate the easy to operate large screw down crown and heartiness of the "hard style lugs found on the 1950 style cases. Another rare feature is the black matte dial with the "Marina Militare" logo found on the dial. This logo has only been found on a few styles of Panerai watches. All those models are loved by collectors because it boast of the connection between Panerai and the Italian Navel Special Ops Divers. The dial is also a two-layer sandwich dial. Both the numbers and markers have bright glowing luminous properties. And so do the gold tone hands. Another special feature this watch has that has only been found on a few Panerai watches is the Plexi(tm) Crystal which gives the watch a "warm" vintage appearance. The PAM 587 also has a reliable and durable 3 Days power reserve movement. Because it is 100 meters (300 feet) water safe, this will make a great daily wear timepiece!
