Light, thin, and hand-wound, the Oris Divers Sixty-Five Limited Edition for HODINKEE is a brand new watch with a thoroughly vintage presence on the wrist. With the Divers Sixty-Five Limited Edition for HODINKEE, we pared down the design to create the perfect balance of go-anywhere ability and alwayso-on-your-wrist versatility. The soft black dial is complemented by printed markers, a simple hand design, and plenty of lume for maximum legibility through the bubble-domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The faded grey bezel rounds it all out with a lovely tone-on-tone contrast with the dial. Inside the 40mm steel case is a specially modified hand-wound version of Oris’ caliber 730 based on the Sellita 210-1. This is the first Divers Sixty-Five that is manually wound; it not only adds to the vintage aesthetic, but the lack of rotor also allows for an overall slimmer case profile of 11.82mm. The Divers Sixty-Five for HODINKEE is fitted on a tapered rivet-style stainless steel bracelet. Condition The watch remains in overall excellent condition. The steel case shows signs of wear and some light scratches, but no major nicks or dings. The bezel and insert are excellent. The dial and hands are like new. The bracelet has surface scratches, especially on the clasp, with negligible play between the links. The bracelet currently fits a 6 3/4" wrist and has 11 links.
