It houses the Oris caliber 634 which is based on the ETA 2824-2. This includes hacking seconds and a quick-set pointer date function. Its size of 36mm is great for many different wrist sizes; the coin edge bezel is quite elegant and striking. The crown as well as the buckle are original. The dial, movement, case, and crystal are also original. Comes on an after-market leather strap. The watch has not been polished. I recommend that you service this watch upon receiving it, as the timekeeping is out of spec. Fortunately, this should be fairly affordable considering the ETA movement. Despite the water resistance rating of 30 meters, I'm uncertain as to the reliability of the gasket. I would recommend keeping this watch away from water until it has been serviced. I rarely see this Roman numeral variety appear on the market. The numerals, along with the guilloché dial, gold indices, textured bezel, see-through caseback, and the brilliant red pointer date are charming details that are quite beautiful to behold. I am selling the watch due to finding it difficult to read the pointer date numerals as my eyes have gotten older. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Please reach out with any questions.
