Named ORIS XXL Limited Edition Basel 2001, this timepiece features a stainless-steel case. Commemorating Basel’s federal oath of 1501, this exclusive automatic watch was created to in a limited edition of 500 watches, individually numbered from 001/500 to 500/500. The dial features the official logo of “Basel 2001“. Engraved on the caseback are the anniversary signet together with the heraldic shields of the two cantons of Basel and the individual number of the watch. A certificate was provided to confirm authenticity. Oris developed the jubilee watch from the Classic Line XXL, characterised by a simple, elegant case with a large display for the classical modern dial. Fitted with a sapphire crystal and screw-back, the watch is water resistant to a depth of 30 m.
