With its oversized crown, red crescent-tipped pointer date hand, and fluted bezel, it is an Oris signature and a byword for ageless watch design. Oris is releasing it in full bronze for the first time, with a solid bronze case, bezel, crown, articulated bracelet and clasp, and four dial color options – green, brown, Bordeaux, and blue. Developing a bracelet with this level of detail in bronze, a more malleable material than steel, required significant research and development by Oris’s in-house team of engineers. Bronze captures something of the independent company’s industrial roots, which reach back to 1904, and patinates over time, making it an elegant symbol of Oris’s natural surroundings in the beautiful Swiss village of Hölstein, which change with every season. Inside the watch is Oris’ Caliber 754, an automatic movement visible through a transparent caseback.
