Reference 2536-10 was part of Omega’s broader effort to offer refined wristwatches equipped with manual-winding movements that would become benchmarks for everyday reliability and understated design. The case measures 35.4 mm in diameter excluding the original crown. It has a screw-down caseback and is in very good condition, retaining its original finish and showing only light signs of use. The crystal is in plexiglass and in excellent condition. The silvered dial is original and has applied red gold baton indexes and matching hands. The small seconds sub-dial is at 6 o’clock. The dial has developed a very light and even patina over time, lending it a warm tonality, it has a very small blemish near the10 o`clock marker, The Omega logo and text are clearly defined, and the hour markers are very well preserved. The watch is powered by the Omega Caliber 265, a hand-wound movement derived from the renowned 30T2 family. Introduced in the late 1940s, the Cal. 265 was built for accuracy and ease of servicing. Its robust architecture and proven track record make it a respected choice among vintage Omega aficionados. This watch mounts a new leather strap and has been recently serviced in-house.
