Rare Omega Speedmaster Pre-Moon 145.022-69 Superb Tropical Dial

Superb Omega Speedmaster 145022-69. This reference is interesting in the history of the Speedmaster as it is the last "pre-moon", meaning it does not yet have the inscription "the first watch worn on the moon" on the case back. This example features a very rare dark brown "tropical" dial. This is due to a defect in the zappon varnish that was applied to the dials, but only certain series of watches were affected by this phenomenon. They are now highly sought after by collectors, and their prices continue to rise. The original "step" dial is in exceptional condition; I have rarely seen this! Tritium indices and hands with a beautiful patina. The serial number 29.116.xxx is perfectly consistent. Most of the recorded 145022-69 tropicals have a very close serial number. The "B2" bezel is in very good condition. Steel bracelet 1171/633. The movement has been checked and tested.
