To make the dial, OMEGA sourced a piece of the famous „Gibeon Meteorite“. The meteorite pieces are thinly sliced and then chemically treated in order to create the black part via oxidation (with the sub-dials still keeping Gibeon meteorite’s original grey color). This process highlights the unique structure of the Gibeon meteorite with it’s unique patterns. The watch is a limited edition of 1975 pieces produced in 2010. The watch is in great condition showing light signs of wear.
