Omega Speedmaster "Apollo xvii.
The Omega Speedmaster is one of OMEGA's most legendary timepieces. The impressive Speedmaster, which was present on all six moon missions, perfectly embodies the brand's risk-taking pioneering spirit.
This limited edition Speedmaster Moonwatch "Apollo xvii" commemorates the 40th anniversary of the last moon mission in December 1972 and features a sterling silver dial embossed with the Apollo xvii mission emblem. A small second hand, a 30-minute and 12-hour counter and a central chronograph hand adorn the dial.
The bezel with a black aluminum tachymeter ring is mounted on a 42 mm stainless steel case with a matching stainless steel bracelet. At the heart of this chronograph is OMEGA's mechanical caliber 1861, a hand-wound movement. The Speedmaster Moonwatch "Apollo xvii" was produced in a limited edition of 1,972 pieces.
The watch dates from 2019 and comes in an absolute full set in the large black Omega box. The Speedy is in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear. The sterling silver relief dial and the lettering printed on the inside of the glass are an absolute eye-catcher, unique to the Speedmaster.
