This model introduced the asymmetrical case with crown guards, a design that remains in the Speedmaster lineup today. Apollo 11 Moon Landing: The 105.012 was worn by Buzz Aldrin during the first moonwalk in 1969 (Neil Armstrong left his in the Lunar Module as a backup).
