The caliber inside is a cal.861 from an very early batch, service on this movement was a real peach, the mainspring was replaced and the parts were in fantastic condition. The movement timed out to +/- 10 secs/day which for this older chronograph is really good. The amplitude crossed approx 260 degrees, again, a real pleasant surprise. The movement is now in flawless working condition, and the watch functions or functionality is as advertised on the Soccer timer. For instructional purposes, the Soccer timer uses the same very movement as in a MOON WATCH SPEEDMASTER (SPEEDY) but the chronograph minutes section towards 3 o'clock on the dial, has a fairly larger round and step portion that has 45 mins clearly marked, as well as regular intervals of 15/30/45 - and as you should know, the Soccer timer Seamaster times out the 45 mins on this sub-dial, and hence the name of the watch is a Soccer timer (in North America) in Europe it is known as a Football timer chronograph. Despite the dial being what it is, the watch is super cool to wear. NEW Pics added: 24th June, 2025- the watch was serviced a few months ago, and is still maintaining perfect time-keeping at under 15 seconds per day averaging out to slightly over 10 seconds in all positions, beat error is minimal- this watch is not deemed water resistant due in part to the original wear on the crown and pushers/ the watch has it's original Omega signed crystal in place.
