Case reference396.0839 (396.0839) powered by innovative caliber 1611 movement. Produced by Omega for the 1976 Montreal Olympics game this is a an impressive timing “instrument” for your wrist. Approximately the size and shape of an Apple watch, oriented horizontally instead of vertically, but way cooler! In exceptional condition with clean sapphire crystal, polished steel bezel and case, and with very minty condition original bracelet with contoured, polished rounded links and heavy deployment clasp with deeply stamped Omega logo. Caseback with deeply embossed Seamaster and Montreal Olympics logos. This model was introduced for the Montreal, Canada olympics games of 1976 by timing sponsor Omega, and represented a significant break through in technology and design. It features the first combined use of digital and analog display in a time piece.
