One of the most characterful early Seamasters available — the Omega Seamaster ref. 2576 from the early 1950’s predates the diver’s watches that would later define the line, offering instead a refined mid-century dress watch with genuine mechanical substance. The silver case frames a beautiful cream dial with applied gold dagger markers, Arabic numerals at 12, 3 and 9, and the distinctive subsidiary seconds subdial at 6 o’clock — a configuration that collectors associate with the most classical and prestigious dress watches of the era. Inside, the calibre 344 bumper automatic — 17 jewels, copper-finished — a movement that winds through the characteristic side-to-side rotor action unique to this generation of Omega.
