Omega Seamaster 300 165.014 1966
An Omega Seamaster 300 diver's stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch, manufactured around 1966, with the reference number 165.014, straight lug case, rotating bakelite bezel (which we had restored by the foremost authority in the field), and a black dial with Arabic quarter-hour numerals, baton markers and sweep centre seconds.
The Seamaster is based on waterproof wristwatches created for the British Army at the close of World War II. The Seamaster 300 series began with the CK 2913 and was introduced in 1957 together with the Railmaster and the Speedmaster. The final model with the "straight lugs" case, came out in 1964 with the transitional reference 165.014.
The watch is wearing its 50+ years well, with the all-important dial. The Calibre 552 movement, no. 24,719,364, has also been fully serviced and is running perfectly. The watch includes a later 175 bracelet, which shows considerable stretch so we have put the watch on a new beautiful dark green leather strap.
Finally, it also comes with an Omega original era box and an official Extract from the ArchivesWe work hard to ensure you are pleased with your purchase, both before and after the sale. Contact us to request any additional information.
