It’s the late 1960s, and the Space Age is in full swing. Lunar missions are becoming routine, sartorial style is taking notes from the stratosphere, and the fever of futurism grips the world. In this era of freedom, Swiss visionary designer Gilbert Albert aims for the stars, shattering the confines of Earthly convention and launching wristwear into the unknown. While the Space Age bathed in cold metallic silvers, Albert charted his own course with 18k yellow gold. Forged in this radiant hue, Albert’s creation felt transcendent, as though it had landed from a distant galaxy. The design, with its crater-like indentation carved into the 18k yellow gold bracelet, uncovers a champagne dial beneath—an ethereal homage to the moon. Like a comet blazing across the heavens, the Rocaille D’or—codename "Golden Rock"—captures Albert’s inspiration from nature, art, and the infinite cosmos that lies beyond.
