Offered here as part of that Museum Collection we have the 1945 Officers Watch Chronograph ref. 5702.50.02.Launched in 2003 and produced until 2012 as a limited edition series of just 1945 units, this timepiece is a stainless steel recreation of an early officer’s chronograph. Boasting a black multi-scale dial and a fixed 12-hour bezel, this 37.8mm timepiece is a wonderful snapshot into the types of watches that would once adorn the wrists of soldiers across the globe. Powered by Omega’s manual-wind cal. 3200 movement, this was the third release from Omega’s Museum Collection and it has survived today as one of the more desirable thanks to its low production output and ultimately timeless execution thanks to the enduring popularity of chronographs, and mid-century chronographs like the one that inspired this watch.
