The Genève line is known for its clean aesthetics and durable construction, and this reference is a fine representation of Omega’s understated 1970s design. This watch features a beautiful indigo blue sunburst dial with applied hour markers set with onyx inserts, an applied Omega logo, and the “Genève” signature. The orange central seconds hand adds a subtle but distinctive contrast, giving the watch strong vintage character while remaining elegant and versatile. The 34.5 mm stainless steel case is in very good condition, with crisp radial brushing on the front and polished sides and bevels. The screw-down case back retains its brushed center and polished edge. The watch is fitted with a new original Omega plexiglass crystal (Ref. PZ5004) with the Omega logo engraved in the center, as well as its original Omega crown. Inside, the Omega Caliber 601 manual movement (17 jewels, 19,800 vibrations per hour) runs correctly and consistently. Overall condition is very good, especially considering the watch is nearly 60 years old. It is paired with a handmade genuine leather strap in blue, carefully selected to complement the tone of the dial, with cream stitching for a refined finish.
