The silver sunburst dial is in very fine condition, with a steel Omega logo, emblem and Constellation star. It has faceted steel hour markers with black onyx inlay and lume dots at the outer ends, double markers at 12 o’clock. The baton hands have the original black contrast and lume and are in good condition with some visible wear. The steel framed window at 3 o’clock displays the date, which can be semi quick-set by repeatedly pulling the crown out to the outermost position. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial. The stainless steel bezel is in good condition with some overall wear, perhaps most notable at the bottom. The stainless steel case with the original partially hidden crown and straight lugs is in fine condition with a brushed finish on the sides and the outside of the lugs. It shows only light overall wear with a few marks on both the sides and the lugs. The stainless steel case back is in fine condition with a crisp and clean Geneva observatory medallion and some overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished. The watch comes on an after market leather strap of good quality with the genuine Omega buckle in fine condition. Inside the watch, perhaps the best watch movement ever made, Omega’s caliber 564, beats strongly and accurately to within about +10 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in July 2025 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning. This is a fabulous and stylish watch that is still very versatile and can be used for most any occasion.
