Omega Constellation 168.004

Description

OMEGA Constellation Ref.168.004

The silver dial with a stepped design features a so-called pie-pan dial with a sunburst finish radiating outward and three-dimensional applied indices that create delicate shadows as they catch the light. The star emblem is positioned at 6 o'clock, and the chronometer designation is at 12 o'clock, clearly indicating the lineage of the Constellation. The dauphine hands and date window are well-balanced, forming a refined face. The chronometer Cal.561 is a movement with calendar quickset (moving the hands back and forth between 9 o'clock and 1 o'clock) and is a machine that has received high praise for improving upon the historical 500 series automatic movements. It is a watch that is easy to use on a daily basis. The automatic winding efficiency of Omega's movements from this generation is excellent, so manual winding is rarely necessary. The original crown of the Constellation emphasizes design. While it may feel cumbersome to operate manually, it is in its original specification and poses no issues.
