I purchased this quartz Omega Constellation (date) from the pre-owned collection of Tourneau in May of 2009. It has some service records going back to at least 2021. It has spent the last several years in a safe deposit box (crown out) and is seldom worn. It is presently sized for a 6.4 wrist, and does come with the (only) other link I removed when I purchased it. The face has a faint pattern to it, like Egyptian cloth, and is otherwise free of blemishes or fading. All the Romans on the bezel are intact, without fading or chiping, and the lume is likewise. The bracelet shines up beautifully and without stretch, but does show signs of daily wear to the (factory) finish in the form of faint scratches. The clasp extends, closes, and opens properly. All servicing has been done at either Korman in Austin or Bachendorf's in Dallas, and they are both authorized dealers. In my ownership it has never seen a shower, bath, salt water, or chlorine. This watch is quite thin, and pairs well with a suit or dinner jacket, or with a polo shirt and jeans. Incidentally this model was the favorite watch of Mykail Gorbachev, the last Soviet premier. It has a very distinctive ( almost vintage?) look that has all but disappeared from the modern catalogue, but because it's a modern quartz and still serviced by Omega, it is without the maintanence of an automatic.
