Für die Rückseite jeder Uhr schufen die berühmten Künstler Max Bill, Richard Paul Lohse, Paul Talman, ein wahres Kunstwerk. Später folgten die Künstler Camille Graeser, Fritz Glarner, Al Held, Kenneth Noland, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Valerio Adami und Emilio Tadini. Sie halten in ihrem Stil in ihrem Kunstwerk das Phänomen der Zeit und seiner unendlichen Bewegung fest. Jedes Motiv ist in numerierter, signierter und limitierter Auflage erhältlich.
Die Rückseite dieser Uhr hat ein mit Glas eingelassenes Bild von Paul Talman (verstorben 1987, also noch im gleichen Jahr wie das Erscheinen der Uhr) sowie der dazugehörigen Nummer der limitierten Edition ( 289 von 999). Das Bild stammt aus der Reihe Serigraphie. Anders als andere Exemplare ist hier zu erwähnen, dass das Glas keinerlei Sprung hat und somit das Bild komplett unversehrt ist. Allein dieser Umstand ist extrem selten und macht die Uhr zu einer einmaligen Gelegenheit für Sammler und Kapitalanleger.
Darüber hinaus ist noch zu erwähnen, dass die Bilder von Paul Talman bei Sotheby´s und Christies auch heutzutage noch Höchstpreise von mehreren Tausend Euros erzielen (Sie können gern selbst via Google recherchieren ;-)). For the back of each watch, the famous artists Max Bill, Richard Paul Lohse, Paul Talman created a true work of art. Later the artists Camille Graeser, Fritz Glarner, Al Held, Kenneth Noland, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Valerio Adami and Emilio Tadini followed. They capture the phenomenon of time and its infinite movement in their style in their artwork. Each motif is available in a numbered, signed and limited edition.
The back of this watch has an image of Paul Talman (died 1987, the same year the watch was released) and the corresponding limited edition number (289 of 999) embedded in glass. Unlike other watches of this kind, it should be mentioned here that the glass has no cracks and therefore the picture is completely intact. This fact alone is extremely rare and makes the watch a unique opportunity for collectors and investors.
It should also be mentioned that Paul Talman's paintings still fetch top prices of several thousand euros at Sotheby's and Christies (you're welcome to do your own research via Google ;-)). The watches are therefore rarities and small works of art and are certainly a good investment in the medium and long term. The replacement value of the watch, based on the purchase price in 1987, is around 1300 euros today, adjusted for inflation.
Please note that the clock has a significant daily deviation and does not keep time correctly. The quartz movement seems to work, but a visit to the watchmaker and changing the battery would certainly make sense.
