Known as the “Moonwatch,” this model carries the same lineage as the watch worn during NASA’s Apollo missions — a true piece of horological history. This example features the classic 42mm stainless steel case with a black dial, Hesalite crystal, and tachymeter bezel. It is powered by the legendary manual-wind Omega Caliber 1861, the final generation of the traditional Moonwatch movement before Omega transitioned to the newer 3861 — making this a highly desirable reference among collectors. The watch is in excellent condition and runs perfectly. It originally came on the stainless steel bracelet, and I later purchased the leather strap separately from an Omega boutique, giving you the flexibility to switch between a sportier or more refined look.
