Speedmaster Professional Apollo 11 50th Anniversary | 42 mm | 2019 | Original box | Original papers The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Apollo 11 50th Anniversary ref. 310.20.42.50.01.001 was produced in a limited edition of 6,969 numbered pieces to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing with Apollo 11 in 1969. Crafted in stainless steel, it features an 18K Moonshine™ gold bezel with a tachymeter scale insert in OMEGA Ceragold™. The dial has hour markers and hands in 18K Moonshine™ gold, with the central seconds hand coated in PVD. At 9 o'clock, there is a sub-dial in Moonshine™ gold with a laser-engraved depiction of Buzz Aldrin descending onto the Moon. The case back includes several engravings and a medallion with Buzz Aldrin's footprint, visible beneath the sapphire crystal. At its heart is the Omega Caliber 3861, a hand-wound movement certified as both a Master Chronometer and by COSC. It offers high precision, resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, and reliability thanks to Omega's Co-Axial technology.
