The black wave dial is in excellent condition, with a steel Omega logo and emblem and barely any marks. It has lume filled hour markers, wedge shaped at the poles, largest at 12 o’clock. The sword hands with the original lume are in very fine condition with a few tiny marks visible under magnification. The window at 3 o’clock displays the quick-set date. The quick-set function should only be used with the hour hand at the bottom half of the dial. The large rotating stainless steel bezel with a sandblasted face and a faceted edge to facilitate turning it has Arabic numerals for the minutes. It is in fine condition with some overall wear, perhaps most pronounced at around the 6 and 31 minute marks. The stainless steel case with the original crown and Speedmaster bombe lugs has a brushed face and sides and is in fine condition with light overall wear. The stainless steel case back has a crisp and clean hippocampus medallion at the center of a wave pattern and is in very fine condition with light overall wear. The case does not appear to ever have been polished. The original Speedmaster stainless steel bracelet is in fine visual condition with little stretching and light overall wear. It and is big enough for large wrists. Make sure the specific bracelet size listed in the details is not too small for your wrist as finding spare links for old bracelets is very difficult. The bracelet can be shortened by up to about 2cm simply by moving a spring bar in the clasp. Inside the watch, Omega’s high grade caliber 1120 beats strongly and accurately to within about +8 seconds per day. The watch was fully serviced in September 2024 and comes with a 12 month warranty on its proper mechanical functioning. This watch borrows some of the finest design cues from the Speedmaster but has its own clear Seamaster identity. With the great overall condition and original bracelet, this is a wonderful daily driver or part of a regular rotation schedule.
