Only made for a few years the 'Straight Writing' Speedmaster is a huge collectors piece for its unique case back. Made from 1971-1974 this watch is powered by the 861 manual movement. Information: Serial: 31,615,XXX Date: 1971 June Case Reference: 145.022 – 69 ST Dial: Tritium Hands: Tritium Strap: Brown Leather Strap (Bulang & Sons) Case back: 'Straight Writing' case back , stamped 145022- 69 ST on the inside - paint has worn off Movement: 861 - Manual - running +6 s/d 277 Amp Glass: Hesalite Condition: Case has moderate wear with a few marks. Strap is new. Dial has light spotting under a loupe and lume has aged to a nice beige patina. Hands have aged to a nice matching beige patina with some lume fallen out. Watch runs +6 s/d 277 Amp.
