Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch 145 012 67SP Speedmaster Pre-Moon

Omega c.1967 Pre- Moon Speedmaster ref. 145 012 67SP with its original ref, 1039 stretch "Caterpillar " bracelet with correct 516 endpieces. This watch has an aged vintage dial signed "Omega Speedmaster" (without the word "Professional") and it is period original,-not not a service type dial. This dial is usually associated with earlier "Ed White" (the previous straight lug style case) Speedmasters which were still being issued from the factory until as late as 1969. See the book "Moonwatch Only" p.90 and p. 296 showing this dial was in use until 1969 -So this watch may have been an example of Omega using up the last of the older dials as they sometimes did.It also may have had a dial change,but this seems unlikely as everything matches very well indeed. The original D.O.N. bezel,has some minor chips in the usual places,the printing is still dark and clear. Everything is nicely matching,in aging and general appearance . The watch is in lovely vintage condition,the dial aging,the case back engraving well preserved,the complete full length bracelet etc.etc. Recently fully serviced,all functions are crisp and correct.
