Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch raised logo 'Buzz Aldrin' ref 1967 DN90 bezel
Here is a truly special Buzz Aldrin reference 145.012 ST 67 it has all the hallmarks of a Collector timepiece, correct raised logo, pencil slimline hands with the dove tail chronograph hand, being it is synonymous of the exact watch as worn and epitomized by Buzz Aldrin on his lunar voyage aboard the Apollo 11 to the Moon. Although, the DN90 bezel is clean... and I hereby did not wish to add a DON, for reasons of keeping this watch in the way I found it. The serial number of this watch dates it to the early part of the production line of 145.012 ST 67 / in particular, the serial number of this timepiece is 25,003,691 (this serial number is extremely important as a timeline to the ubiquitous Omega caliber 321) externally, the case is sharp, almost mint with the Omega seahorse logo also sharp and the case pushers are working perfectly.
The dial is 100% beautiful and near flawless. The hands have had their lume redone at some point, but there seems to be consensus it is not a deal breaker, they are the correct hands for this special timepiece. The watch is delivered in fine working condition. checked for time keeping and correct timing over a week's worth of testing.
The leather strap on this watch is authentic Omega, with a modern Omega buckle. The watch will fit a 8 inches or more wrist size, as the leather strap on this watch is slightly padded and solid.
The watch pics have been taken in daylight in our backyard to show off the bluish tinge on the dial and bezel insert. The raised logo is strikingly clean, and the whole ensemble comes out as a great must have accessory. Pls pm me if you have any additional questions that I did not address.
