The ref. 105.005 needs little introduction to serious collectors, but this particular example stands out even within its own reference. This is one of the most sought-after vintage Omega Seamaster chronographs ever produced, powered by the Calibre 321 — the very same movement Omega used in the Speedmaster pre-Professional Moonwatch. The tri-compax dial layout presents sub-dials at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock for running seconds, a 30-minute counter, and a 12-hour totalizer, with applied steel baton indices and a clean, legible appearance that has aged beautifully. I acquired this watch on eBay in well-worn condition and sent it directly to Omega for a complete restoration and service. Omega brought it back to what can only be described as factory-fresh — the case, the dial, the movement. It wears and presents like it just left Switzerland in 1966. The transformation was remarkable. I then had an OEM Omega bracelet fitted at the time of service, which completes the package perfectly.
