Description

Nivada Travelmaster Alarm

Nivada is a Swiss brand that was founded in 1926 and arguably saw most of its success in the 1950s and 60s. Today, their vintage pieces like the Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver and Antarctic are amongst their most celebrated and more recently have been highlighted with a revival of the brand. Some of our favorite, all be it obscure pieces are their Travelmaster alarms which of course competed with the highly successful Vulcain Cricket alarms of the period. The Travelmasters are now a true rarity to come across and happen to be some of the most interesting alarm watches we've been able to find yet. This example features a black rotating bezel which contrasts nicely against the silver/white color of the dial. This is an extremely charming piece with plenty of presence for the average sized wrist. If you're someone who appreciates the lesser-known finds, we believe its highly unlikely you'll see another one of these in the wild on your next adventure. Dial: Fantastic with only minimal wear. There are a few light age spots visible in the photography but they are not distracting to the naked eye. All of the tritium plots are present. Bezel: Fantastic preservation with only light signs of use consistent with the rest of the watch. Hands: Are matching. All of their lume is stabile. Case: Light and honest signs of use with think and even lugs. Etchings on back are still deep and clearly visible. Matching unsigned crowns. Crystal: Clear. Accessories: Two piece leather strap in blue. All functions of the watch operate flawlessly. The movement is running well on our timegrapher and comes with our 1-year mechanical warranty.Nivada Travelmaster Alarm $ 1,363 Basic Info Listing code ISAFY3 Brand Nivada Reference number 87004 Dealer product code 47209291022612 Movement Manual winding Year of production 1960 (Approximation) Condition Minor signs of wear Scope of delivery No original box, no original papers Location United States of America, Connecticut, Stamford Price $1,363 Availability Item is in stock Caliber Movement Manual winding Caliber/movement 1568 Case Case diameter 36 mm Try it on Bracelet/strap Lug width 18 mm Size guide Nivada is a Swiss brand that was founded in 1926 and arguably saw most of its success in the 1950s and 60s.
