From its status as one of the first automatic chronograph movements ever made (depending on who you ask) and the base movement to feature within the second-generation Rolex Daytona, the El Primero is certainly a modern-day icon. Launched in 1969, its incredible hi-beat rate, amazing accuracy and technical prowess ensured that any watch it was inside was one of the best chronographs money could buy. Offered here we have the Zenith Chronomaster Sport in green that was debuted in 2024 a few years after the collection was revived in 2021 with a slew of modern design elements that have been combined with heritage-based elements to create a watch that appeals to modern collectors’ requirements for a luxury timepiece while speaking to thoughtful design.
