The Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph pays homage to the French watchmaker Nicolas Rieussec, who invented the ink chronograph patented in 1821 and thus left a lasting mark on the history of fine watchmaking. The watch is fitted on the dial with the two distinctive horizontal rotating discs - one for the 60-second counter and one for the 30-minute counter of the chronograph - which, like the original device, turn under a fixed double index.
