Its solid sapphire dial, featuring an inky black undercoat, presents a unique ‘inversion’ effect under specific lighting conditions, echoing the brand’s distinctive aesthetic. This model stands out as the first in the 19 series to introduce indices and luminous material directly onto the dial, enhancing brightness and clarity. The timepiece is powered by a new movement, the Schwarz-Etienne for MING Cal. ASE 200.1, boasting a micro-rotor winding system. This movement showcases skeletonized bridges coated in matte-blasted 5N rose gold, complemented by meticulously hand-finished anglage. With a power reserve of approximately 72 hours and bidirectional winding facilitated by a sintered tungsten rotor, this movement combines exceptional performance with elegant design. Constructed with meticulous attention to detail, the 19.05 features a thin titanium band encasing two deep-box sapphire crystals. The case, made from grade 5 titanium, exhibits a combination of mirror-polished and finely brushed surfaces, ensuring maximum rigidity without the need for a spacer ring. Double-sided antireflective coatings on the external sapphire crystals enhance visibility, while Super-LumiNova X1 adorns the skeletonized hands and dial ring, providing luminosity even in low-light conditions.
