An example of the M.A.D 1 - a creation by revered watchmaker Max Busser, who has been creating bespoke, daringly-designed timepieces for almost two decades. Introduced in 2021, the M.A.D. 1 is an affordable alternative to MB&F’s creations, and was initially created for suppliers, friends, and owners of Max’s brand. This limited edition watch was first offered exclusively through a now-closed online raffle. In-line with Max Busser’s daring designs, this stainless steel piece measures 42mm across, and is characterised by its inverted skeleton movement and lateral time display on either side of the case. The watch is driven by the tried-and-tested Miyota calibre 821A, a Japanese made movement finished with a titanium and tungsten triple-bladed winding rotor. The watch is paired with a black leather strap with red stitching and a stainless steel deployant clasp.
