This chronograph is no longer manufactured or offered by Maurice Lacroix in this version. Due to this and, of course, the fact that you are bidding on an exhibit in very good condition, a steady increase in value is guaranteed if this luxury watch continues to be treated with care. Today's Les Classiques chronograph with the same basic movement currently costs 1,095.00 eur, but in my opinion is nowhere near as beautiful to look at as the piece on offer here.
Description and condition of the watch:
The watch offered here comes from a private collection. Judging by its condition, it has been worn very, very little and with great care. Accordingly, and especially in view of its age, it is in very good condition.
There are no deep scratches, dents or "impacts" etc. on the case, the bezel, the lugs, the crown, the pushers or the sapphire crystal. The fine signs of wear on the highly polished case parts (super-fine micro-scratches) that always and immediately occur when a watch is worn and stored for many years are, of course, not completely absent here either, but are unusually minimal and can only be detected on very, very close inspection, but under no circumstances when the watch is worn "normally" (although I must of course mention this here).
The beautiful, handcrafted, black Maurice Lacroix crocodile print genuine leather strap is also in very good condition and will certainly give you a lot of pleasure for some time to come.
I don't think we need to talk any further about the accuracy of a Maurice Lacroix Les Classiques quartz luxury watch.
The watch was subjected to a complete functional test by me before I put it up for sale. This was, of course, flawless and without complaint. However, I cannot provide any information on the remaining battery life (the watch is currently running without any problems).
The case, the lugs, the bezel, the back cover ring, the crown and the two pushers are made entirely of elegant but "unpretentious" stainless steel.
The crystal is of course made of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
