LUCIEN PICCARD BRACELET MONTRE rectangular lady's watch in platinum (min. 800‰). Silver dial, Arabic numerals, studded hour markers, concealed beneath a hinged "tonneau"-shaped cover, entirely set with long baguette-cut diamonds. The geometric attachments set with brilliant-cut and troïdia diamonds. The hinged, slightly dropped bracelet is entirely set with long, alternating baguette-cut and 8/8-cut diamonds. Mechanical movement, signed Lucien PICCARD. Circa 1950. Cal.: 11 x 33 mm. Length: 16.7 cm. Gross weight: 41.1 g. The bracelet design of this watch is typical of Lucien PICCARD's creations of the 1950s. The creativity of its case is a further example of his original use of new diamond cuts since the 1930s. This model is probably one of the finest made by LUCIEN PICCARD.
