Konstantin Chaykin, one such independent watchmaker from Russia, is famous for his unorthodox approach in the horological sphere. His Wristmons design has been a hit, The Joker is the jewel of that crown, which more or less introduced Chaykin to the wider community. Though most watch enthusiasts feel they have been priced out of his watches, he has since done a few collaboration watches with Louis Erard in a much more palatable price point. The Time-Eater is a quirky watch based on Louis Erard's regulateur platform, available at a fraction of Chaykin's other masterpieces. The Watch: The Time Eater provides a much more pocket friendly way to enjoy Chaykin's work. This is a solidly built 42mm watch that wears beautifully on the wrist thanks to the case shape. The lugs don't protrude too far from the case, helping it fit on medium sized wrists as well. The dial is such a fine affair, a plethora of different finishes from brushed to grained to an almost hypnotic sunburst finish borrowed from the famous Joker watch. The watch is in excellent condition, has little to no signs of wear and comes with box and papers. The original toad leather strap is in excellent condition with little to no wear.
