Longines: An 18 Carat Gold Open Faced Pocket Watch, signed Longines, circa 1935, (calibre 17.89ABC) manual wound lever movement signed and numbered 5395648 , split bimetallic balance with a blued overcoil hairspring, silvered dial with Arabic numerals, seconds dial, case back stamped inside Longines and numbered 5395648 , convention mark 18k0.750 , base metal cuvette cover, together with a Two Colour White and Yellow Metal Watch Chain, (2) 45mm wide Estimate £800 - £1,200 Buyer’s premium: 24.00% Register to Bid Case with surface scratches, case sides with minor dents in parts, dial with small staining spotting marks and one small dent next to the 2 o'clock position, dial with minor scratches in parts, hand setting correctly, winding smoothly, movement is working. Watch weight 55g. Chain weight 18g. Chain has no gold stamp marks but the chain in our opinion tests as 10 carat gold.
