A fine and substantial yellow gold pocket watch by Longines, featuring an elegant enamel dial and richly decorated case with engraved caseback. Year: Circa early 20th century. Dial: White enamel dial, black Roman numerals, outer minute track with five-minute Arabic markers, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, signed “Longines”, gold hands. Calibre: Manual wind movement, signed Longines. Case: 18K yellow gold case, No. 353822, engraved and engine-turned inner covers, outer caseback decorated with a relief scene of Saint George slaying the dragon, light wear throughout.
