Longines: An Interesting and Early Enamel Dial Wristwatch, signed Longines, circa 1916, (calibre 15.26) manual wound lever movement signed and numbered 3248835 , enamel dial with Arabic numerals, seconds dial, nickel plated case with hinged back, hinged lugs, "onion" shaped crown, beneath bezel surround numbered 3248835 , back cover stamped inside EFCo Longines and numbered 3248835 , cuvette signed Longines and numbered 3248835 40mm wide, Sold with a photocopy of a letter written to the vendor by the Longines Museum curator in Switzerland, stating “The original serial number 3’248’835 identifies a wristwatch in metal, fitted with a Longines manually wound mechanical movement, caliber 15.26. It was invoiced on 29 January 1916 to the company Schwob, which was at that time our agent for Russia.”
