Description

Very Unusual and Rare, Mono-pusher Chronograph, Wristwatch in Pink Gold, With Central Minute Register Model: Monopusher Chronograph Case Material: Pink gold Bracelet Material: Leather Strap Year: 1945 Movement: Manual Caliber: 12.68Z Case N°: 7105642 Movement N°: 7105642 Dimensions: 34 mm Signed: Dial, Movement and Case Literature: This specific watch is published in Paul White’s Book "I Cronografi da Polso - Volume I" at Page 58-59 The present timepiece might seem like a simple chronograph, but its peculiarity lies in the highly unusual arrangement of the chronograph hands. Instead of having the minutes register at 3 o’clock, there is a supplementary central hand for the minutes, while the subsidiary counter is used for the constant seconds. The watch is powered by the 12.68Z caliber, housed in a three-body pink gold case with a 34 mm diameter, featuring a snap-on back and straight concave lugs that have been very nicely preserved in the almost 80 years of life. The chronograph function is activated by a single rectangular pusher located at 2 o’clock on the band. The pink dial features black painted Arabic numerals, central minute and second hands for the chronograph, and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock. The watch is absolutely well-preserved, maintaining its elegant proportions, stepped bezel, and sharp lugs.
