For sale is a Swiss Made Longines "Les Grandes Classiques" men's quartz watch with reference number 7415, presumably dating back to the early 1990s. The watch is characterised by its stepped rounded rectangular case. Said gold plated stainless steel case measures approximately 32mm by 32mm and just under 6mm in thickness. The dial of this particular piece is finished in matte white, with intricate accents such as a double railroad track. Polished gold tone hands indicate the time on subtle gold tone indices, and a date window can be found at the 3 O'clock position. A rounded rectangular sapphire crystal protects the watch face. The crown does not bear the Longines logo, but we believe this to be the original crown. The watch is powered by a high quality Swiss Made Longines L156.4 quartz calibre, which received a fresh battery and is working perfectly. Fitted to the watch comes a lightly used black Hirsch Lizard strap with generic gold plated buckle, as well as two brand new spare leather straps: a cognac brown one, and dark blue one. This will allow the new owner to easily change things up from time to time. The example sold here has been worn, but is still in decent condition. You will find wear marks on the case, most notable some gold plating which has faded in certain spots on the lugs and bezel. The crystal looks unscathed to the naked eye. The dial has aged well, with no real deterioration to speak of. There is an engraving on the case back reading "15-9-92", which helps us date the watch.
